SIF updates, Jap 1 module and goodbye to my old friend~

Random short manga

Had been busy over the week. School work are getting harder by the week(well to be exact, much harder than my previous semester...) Plus with SIF having events on both EN and Jap servers, I am kinda fighting for sleep... Even so, I (kinda) managed to work this out and gotten the SR Hanayo from Jap server.

Medley Festival is really a good way to level up; I am literally leveling up almost everyday. And thus with level up=using one love gem to replenish one's LP, getting this SR was simple but the process was more tiring than the other 2 event types since I normally play 3 hard or 3 expert songs in one go.-Playing 3 expert songs in one go is no joke; gives me heart attacks when I play.(Luckly, I'm still young) I should try making a short manga about playing SIF Medley Festival 3 expert modes and the player got about 900++ combo, heart rate rising to about 100++ before a good, bad or miss end it all... I got that feeling when I was playing expert songs and was about to full combo until that 'ding' sound was heard... That build-up of 250-300 combo was lost to that 'ding'... Sigh...

As for my EN server, I am planning on saving my tokens/charms for 4X mode and thus, right now I've only 1700++ points.-Quite pathetic~ But no worries I will get her(Nozomi) before the event ends!

While my EN account may not have notable achievement of getting the event SR or FC any hard/expert songs(yet), its rank has finally reached three digits!

It had been a long journey since I started last year in June/July.-Playing often in the first months even though I suck at rhythm game so much that I couldn't FC Snow Halation hard at the start and can't survive a expert song to been able to FC most hard songs, able to survive some expert songs and even FC expert songs! With this, my next target will now be rank 150 and hoping I can survive a expert song of 11 stars and FC more expert songs!(Those 10 stars and below?)

Moving on, I took up Japanese language module in my school.

I know learning a new language is never easy and thus, I kinda got anxious in learning fast for fear that I couldn't learn in time to do the exams in which there is composition writing... Right now, I've a hard time even memorizing Hiragana characters; let along learning Katakana or Kanji... In the end, I used the old school method to learn the characters as shown below:

I'm sure you think I am crazy but this is like the very first module that I felt so interested in and enjoy learning on! It's like the only module for now that I look forward to. You can say I don't mind the hard work I have to give to learn this language yet time do not permit, especially for my core modules... As said before, school work is really getting harder; tutorials of my physics module are killing me and I can barely able to do half of the questions... Hence, all my time is spent working on 'just' 5 questions that can drive me nuts trying to think of the solutions! Sigh... This is University life for ya...

Before I end off, I like to dedicate this section for my beloved file.

This file had been with me since my secondary school days (which is when I am about 13 years old...) and now it's time to 'let it go'. The cover is slowly breaking apart, leading to sharp corners that damage my bag... Without much choice(plus it should rest already), I decided to replace with a black folder... And so, sayonara my file~

That's about it then, I'm thinking of shifting my weekly update to Wednesday which is the day I am free from school.

Kirarin Revolution fanart, SIF manga project sketches and 電撃G'sコミック February issue~

Fanart of Kirari Tsukishima from Kirarin Revolution. Did this as a thanks for my friend.-Decided to do a fanart for her and asked her what anime character she would like; she chose this character. It wasn't hard to draw, surprisingly since I'm really bad at drawing females. I guess drawing females in the previous manga project plus those sketches I did for my upcoming SIF manga project(Will show ltr) help in this area. Seeing as it is supposed to be a gift for my friend, I asked if she like a hard copy and she replied she would like to have it. Just giving her the hard copy will be a bit too simple so I went to make it into a poker card.-The number and the spade was all chosen by my friend through some questions I asked without telling her what do those questions mean... Hope this acts as a surprise to her(provided she don't see this blog...) when she received it by post!

Moving on, SIF sketches of the N members... Said before, there will be 9 and here are all their sketches(the sketches are a little light; haven't darken them...)

   
Basically, (if you couldn't see), the 9 N members are:

4. Coco Miyashita(pure)

These are the confirmed 9 N members that will appear. As to how I choose them... I chose based on their designs and personalities plus reasons for becoming school idols.-I did not regard their school year b'cos like I said before the third yr N members do not appeal to me much.(Once again sorry for being blunt) So these 9 members will consist of a mixture of yr 1 and yr 2 only... Though I can't make a fair number of yr 1, yr 2 and yr 3, I tried to get a fair mixture of smile, pure and cool attributes. Among these 9 members, Yuri, Coco and Kasane do not have a casual outfit which I could use for their practice outfit... This just means I need to think of one for each of them... But the most problematic one is the main character...I still not sure how should the main character look like but I roughly got the personality out and her story behind why U's or rather Honoka asked her for her help. It is a work in progress plus with school, it will take quite a while before I can start; preferably after my exams.

電撃G'sコミック Feb issue comes with a U's diary and a mechanical pencil!-In a way, I bought the magazine b'cos of the free gift. Sad that I couldn't get the pencil box that is from 電撃G magazine...

School started and my next manga project~

School started and I feel so tired from waking early...Sigh~ Luckily, the first week consists of just lectures; can go home early. So my first lecture is maths-fantastic way to start any semester... Though I'm tired or not used to waking early, I managed to keep awake throughout the lecture! Also, I was able to follow so it was not that bad for my first day. However, the fatigue kinda knocked me out in the afternoon as I slept for about 2 hours straight...-.-

Well lecture was fine but can't say the same to my tutorial... Had a hard time just attempting the first question and only to realise the lecturer haven't taught enough to do that question; need to read up myself before I could do. In the end, I managed to do 5 out of 10 questions or rather I chose to divide the work load a bit. I still have other work to do so...

So I kinda started doing some sketches for the SIF one-shot manga I planned to do. Maybe the sketches are a little light but those are N members in SIF! For this part, I had a hard time choosing who to put into the manga. At first, I wanted to be fair to have 3 yr 1, 3 yr 2 and 3 yr 3, and each yr with a mixture of smile, pure and cool members but realise some of the members, especially the yr 3, are not to my liking either b'cos of their reasons to become school idols or their designs...(Sorry for being blunt and all...)
Some additional pointers: you may wondering why I am paying a lot of attention on these members when U's members should in the spotlight...Well, even though it's called Love Live School Idol Festival, I feel that those N members that were created for this game-while they may not be voiced and are just there(to be blunt) for players to get love gems from listening to their stories or use as 'food' to level members, I feel that they deserved some love from their personalities that the creators made for them!
Those three(above) are the confirmed ones that will appear in the manga and another 6 which I've yet to sketch them out... Will be doing these sketches to get used to drawing these girls... But more than anything, the most difficult thing is what OC should I put as the player...I thought of putting a guy but it will be weird and awkward plus ppl saying that the player is from the all girls' school that U's members attend... In the end, I shall go with a female OC but... What personality should I give her? How should she look like?-Should she be long haired or short haired? And more towards the story: why did she get called on by U's members to help???? Sigh~ So many stuff to consider... I suppose I will just have fun thinking about it, whenever I need a break from studying then...

[Just A Dream]+ Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls ramblings~

These 45 pages were sent for scanning this morning and now it is ready for showcase! Enjoy~

Pretty much what I want to say have been put in the artist/author's notes but there is one thing I like to point out which I kinda feel inappropriate to put in the notes... I'm sure you will realise(if you've finished reading)that the interactions between characters, especially Haru and Yuki, are leaning towards the direction of yuri... While I've nothing against yuri(I even read them...-.-), this manga certainly is not taking into that direction at all! In a way with all characters female, it is hard to steer away from that path but I want to emphasis(once again) that the manga is really not a yuri one. Also, can't imagine myself writing or drawing that genre of story/manga...(Sorry if I offended anybody-_-) 

Like I said in the notes, I will be making a sequel and I've more or less planned out the story. Most likely starting only after this semester's finals... But before that, I like to work on some one-shot ideas, especially the SIF one-shot manga...

Deviating aside from this, Idolm@ster Cinderella girl episode 1 was out today!-I was so excited when I saw it been subbed on the site! And the hype for it wasn't disappointing at all as the show introduced the two starter idols(one of which is my fave!-Can u guess her?) plus the stoic producer. While the producer this time sure is different from previous one, I find him refreshing and the fact that he hardly express much feelings is kinda like giving a general response to everything; not making any official response to the questions asked and actions did by the idols themselves.-Much different from the previous one who has emotions that clearly steer to positive ones towards the idols' actions and reactions. Both producers are great and I don't dislike anyone of them! Can't wait for the next episode of more idols 'debut' in the show!(Oh yeah a lot of references to 765 production!)

In the end, this is the opening instead and the one I shown previously is the ending...
