[Updates] Holidays ending and results releasing...

With a blink of an eye, holidays r ending(which is sad) and just recently, Christmas ended... While it's a day of joys and gifts; a happy occasion, its end reminds me of the end of holidays. But before that, the release of results which is tmr... So scared to face it tbh; am planning to sleep in late and not wake up for it but... I've to face it one way or another so...sigh... Real hope I passed everything whether the grades r bad or not! Tbh, I just want to graduate in peace but life isn't that simple and easy I think. Let's just see it tmr then; it's sadness or joy...

Putting my horrible life problems aside, here r some scanned recent works:

Sry if it is light; this is the best since I did this with a pencil; without outlining...-.-

Had been obsessed with drawing Umi after doing the Kendo doodles~
Theme was 'Handsome Umi Chan'- Tried to draw Umi in suits, vests, etc; those male clothings instead of feminine.
Think that bikini KotoUmi I did not long ago, is giving drawbacks... Plus I had always wanted to draw Umi in suits and vests~ Ltr, it turned into drawing many Umi to fill up the paper.- I regret not drawing on my B4 sketchbk which has more space...(FYI: did this on an A4 paper)
The mini chibi characters r random cos my hand's itchy to fill up those small spaces(><)
The blue outline is a try-out but glad it turned out great!^8^
Fun fact 1: no. of Umi = my age next yr~
Fun fact 2: Each chibi char represent each member in U's~

Another Love Live crossover and this time with Kingdom Hearts!-As mentioned in previous post and decided to work with the good guys instead~
Not exactly happy or satisfied with this; esp the 3rd yr... 2nd yr trio with Sora, Riku and Kairi group is fine and 1st yr trio with 358/2 days trio is still... acceptable tbh(maybe Maki don't fit?)
Then comes 3rd yr trio... Nico. Really. Cannot. Be. Ventus. Her personality don't match; Eli could be but I feel she fits more towards Terra but again, it isn't quite a gd match and here... She look's like some goddess of war-.- As for Nozomi... Let's just say Aqua's clothing isn't gd for her but in terms of personality, I admit there's some matching.
I guess Nico ruined the crossover in 3rd yr; she would fit as Larxene(but frankly speaking, Larxene is the extreme end of Nico. Let's just say Larxene is quite a bitch nasty women while I believe Nico has her moments, she isn't that bad yet I can't deny that she can be like Larxene, caused by some extreme matters...)
I may consider doing organisation XII cross with LL~
There's another crossover idea I gt while packing my stuff and that is Mekaku City Actors X Love Live!
Not sure if it's coincidence or what but Mekaku City Actors have exact 9 ppl with the special eyes! That immediate connection set me to think of who to play who! It was hard and in the end, I went with adding Alisa and Yukiho inside cos besides the 9, there r another 2 that r dear to 2 of the 9!

After much debate and thinking, here's the cross:

1. Kido-Maki
2. Seto-Rin
3. Kano-Nico
4. Marry-Hanayo
5. Momo-Honoka
6. Ene-Nozomi
7. Shintaro-Umi
8. Hibiya-Yukiho
9. Konoha-Eli
10. Ayano-Kotori
11. Hiyori-Alisa

The roles of Hibiya and Hiyori were hard to give between Yukiho and Alisa- Tbh, Yukiho fit in both roles... And Alisa... Don't see her as either one. Yet cos I don't see much Alisa in the anime so I can't be sure. Decided to put her as Hiyori, the one who kept trying to keep Hibiya(Yukiho) alive in [Kagerou Daze]~

Next up, Eli... She gt the role that I really had no idea who in LL can fit cos in the anime(I didn't listen to the songs or read the novels) Konoha was real calm & quiet. And, Haruka was a passive guy so it is hard. And then, for Nozomi... She fits Ene playful nature but not Takane... Takane was kinda a tomboy in my opinion and Nozomi is far from that...-.- Shall ignore their 'past' selves...(But I won't ignore the relationship they had though*hint*)

For the others, Honoka is dead set as Momo- have u seen the hairstyle and then that optimistic personality??? It was an easy choice! 

Nico as Kano cos they both r playful, annoying but at the same time, can be serious and mature when they want to yet again, insecure and stuff... Maki as Kido- cos I kinda ship Kano with Kido(a bit) plus Kido's cool appearance but deep inside is a shy kid, fit Maki 'a little'~ 

Rin as Seto since they r both cheerful and serious when nid to and that kinda set Hanayo with Marry cos again, I ship Seto with Marry... Plus Marry's quiet nature fits with Hanayo's~

Lastly, Umi and Kotori~ If u know my past artworks, u know which pairing I ship more in 2nd yrs! Tbh, Umi as Shintaro is a bit... Off... Yet not impossible! Umi's smart- seen from the anime, getting good grades despite having so many activities(is she some genius or something???) and then her... Critical nature is quite similar to Shintaro and Ene(Nozomi) as the partner, it would be interesting~ 

Kotori as Ayano is alright cos they do give off that angelic feel~ And I can see, Kotori(Ayano) trying hard to be there for Umi(Shintaro) as seen in [Lost Time Memory]~

Gt 'a little' too engrossed with my idea(haha), pardon me~ I will work on that, hopefully finish before the yr ends~ 

Gng try do a compilation like what I did in June and it will be my 秋と冬(aka. Autumn and Winter) sketchbk! It's not a lot since this time's break isn't that long>8<

There's another work I finished but haven't sent for scanning cos I just finished today:

Much influences from Kingdom Hearts and I'm just Umi trashcan- can't help make angst Umi but dragged Honoka and Kotori along...(Tough being my fave trio but even more so of being my fave char, sry...)

How u want to interpret that art is up to u but I think those words used pretty much say what I, the artist, want to say~

It was real random idea of just wanting to draw kotoumi but ended up drawing Umi(at first) and then added that HonoKoto Scene. Before I knew it*enter birth by sleep scene* I drew Umi sleeping(like how Ventus fell asleep) on a chair... Crying Honoka & Kotori. Then that Umi being locked away-inspired by Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and Kingdom Hearts~

Before I forget, I'm thinking of making Yuru Yuri fanart as well(new yr work?) Recently just finished watching all 3 seasons- gd anime for laughters in life~

[Updates] Scanned Recent works~

It's another 3 more days to Christmas(the hype) yet at the same time, another 6 more days to the release of results(-.-) Time really passes and before I knew it, my break's ending soon in like 3 more weeks or so. A short break but nonetheless, needed to recover those lost sleep during exam period~

In addition, gt more free time to do my own stuff which is translated as drawing in my dictionary(& maybe reading, etc.)

Crossover ideas~

Had been doing much Love Live crossovers- ideas of LL crossing-over with animes I watch like Noragami and Naruto, etc.

Example for Noragami, gt another crossover idea; Eli-Bishamonten crossover! Much inspired from the newest Bibi single cover; Eli really look like Bishamonten in that outfit! Then, maybe Nozomi as Kofuku and Nico as Daikoku- can already imagine their daily life~ Rin can be Kuraha(the lion) Tbh, I would put Umi as Kazuma but Umi as Yato is better tbh. Then, Eli(Bishamonten) crossing sword with Umi(Yato)! Can see that image now!(Haha><)  Over excitement for this crossover~ Maybe Maki can be Ebisu?- doubt that works... Oh well~

Beside Noragami, there's kingdom heart where I was thinking of doing Love Live as organisation 13~ As it is, U's has 9 members, then if add in Arise(3), Yukiho and Alisa, it will 14... Initially thinking of choosing one out(likely to be Honoka) as the hero; Sora? against the organisation 13 until I realise that in 358/2 days, there r 14 members(b'cos of Xion) so it's possible. However, that will put love live ppl as the 'bad' ppl though... Was thinking of adding the LL sunshine casts as well... But that will give an addition of 9 more ppl while the keyblade owners r only 7... Hmm... If excluded Arise, it will be just nice; 20... Oh well, that's a matter for ltr. Just gt another idea of putting either 2nd yr trio with Sora, Riku and Kari or Venus, Tera and Aqua or there's the Axel, Roxas and Xion trio... Maybe make 1st yr and 3rd yr as well(haven't done any for these 2 trios...) Too much ideas to cross, haha!

And then, there's persona 4 but that's for ltr~(haha)

Umi doodles~

Aside from crossover, had been drawing much of my fave char, Umi dah! Kendo Umi chan(see above ) was a random work cos I borrowed a guide bk about it and decided to practise drawing the posts, since Umi does learn kendo, what's better to put her inside and turned out fun~

My source of inspiration~

After doing Kendo Umi chan, I decided to draw more Umi with the theme in mind; 'Handsome Umi' Basically, all Umi doodles with her in 'male' clothing~ Had wanted to try drawing Umi in different formal outfit or jackets or uniform~ And the current progress:

Haven't uploaded anywhere(except here) so should be kinda... idk, honoured?(haha, just jking) Anyway, tried this outline to differentiate the different Umi~

Suggestion board is still open~ I think I can squeeze another 2 more or so~ There's a chance I may add in another paper to draw more(haha) Kinda regret not drawing on my b4 sketchbk(the sketchbk was... Unavailable since I sent for scanning when I started doing all these doodles~) Anyway, don't hav much ideas left so unlikely to continue unless there r many suggestions(which I doubt...-.-)

Kotori Bday Fan-Manga

[Updates and Rambles]: Kotori bday fan-manga~

It's been a while. Had been busy working on the fan-manga- rushing so that I can show my friend when we meet...

Had uploaded sneak peak on twitter and insta- as much as I want to post the whole manga, insta constraint doesn't allow... I will upload here~ This ver is slight bad(b'cos I gt a bad camera...-.-) For now, make do with this; I will be uploading the better(scanned) ver in the weekends~

Most of what I want to say is in the AFTERWORD but (due to paper constraint) there r still some stuff to be said and it's a little personal to put inside~

It's a rather rushed work, tbh... But I'm satisfied with some like how I drew Nozomi and Umi in the Omake section~ Honoka look weird in some(Kotori as well)- Sry about that... The shading may not be obvious in some(maybe due to the photo cos it looks fine in the original~

About the Omake...
It's something I feel may arise in the 2nd yr trio; one of them will be left out when any 2 of them decided to be together...(I feel threesome is... While writers may look like it works, I doubt it does...) It's the same situation with Arise and hence, fandom include U's and Arise members so that no one left out! For me, tbh, I'm like any typical fan; shipping the canon ships like NicoMaki, NozoEli...

But when it involves my fave, Umi, I don;t mind any paring tbh(though there r some that r weird like NicoUmi? PanaUmi? RinUmi? I feel these pairing will be good friends than lovers...)
From what I've seen so far(on twitter, fb, etc.), KotoUmi, EliUmi, MakiUmi seem nice. NozoUmi- at first I felt it's weird until I see how artists and writers make it work~ As for HonoUmi... My two faves together is like a dream comes true but I normally tend to KotoUmi(haha)
I think I just went overboard with the ramblings...

Moving on... Here's the coloured ver of LL X Naruto:

I 'may' have screwed up coloruing Umi/Sasuke's outfit... And Kotori... The colours... Really sry if it's not like the one in Naruto; didn't hav the colours-.- Honoka/Naruto is... Fine; the colours that is. The eyes of all of them r the worst... Wish I could colour like anime style...

Aside from that, I'm back with recording SIF playthrough!- Just uploaded private wars expert playthrough on Youtube:

No idea y Rin kept appearing...(Where's Kotori, Eli, Maki and most importantly, UMI???) Oh and I'm not gonna do anymore Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage playthrough- I quit that game since I can't handle too many idols at once...

Updates(so far)

After exams, slowly, working my current artwork that I put on hold.

Hope it isn't too bad... There were many times that I really wanted to just draw with my right hand but gt to restrain. Did a lot of erasing that I felt so frustrated and wanted to give up; glad I made it!:)

Umi's my fave so of course I drew her and players of SIF will know y bunny for her~

Okay so during Kotori's bday, I 'promised' her that I would do a manga for her but due to lack of time... I made a half-assed fanart for her(and she also gave half-assed results when I scouted... Fair enough~) Since exams r over, I can work on it~
