[Updates] Going hiatus...

With school starting, had been real busy that to be able to blog now is a miracle... So while I gt the time, shall update a bit.

Format change

If u've followed my twitter or Deviantart, there was a recent case of my art being used without permission or was there any credits. LINK: Twitter

This was the 2nd time such thing happens; the 1st time wasn't so bad since person/grp/page did credit. This person/grp wasn't too bad to cover my signature but at the very least is to credit the source...

I'm the type that avoid conflict if possible cos there's no end esp when the other party is the unreasonable type! Plus sch started, I don't want unnecessary stuff to handle when I've enough on my hand(gt tons of stuff to do and settle before this term ends...-.-)

As such, I'm letting this case go but it will be the last time!(Will monitor the grp too; one more time and I will report without warning...)

While I'm not a famous artist nor is my art that good as compared to the others(I'm quite surprised that such thing even happened...) plus I wouldn't know if nt for my follower, it still sucks to hav your art being used by people as if it is theirs! 

That is why I'm switching my style of uploading my art... I won't be uploading my artworks onto my blog anymore but instead I will just share links of my art being uploaded either onto Deviantart or Pixiv where watermarks can be put.(Except maybe for char bday, I may upload photo taken works than the cleaned ver; that ver will only be found on DA/Pixiv) 

And welcomed to follow my insta or twitter where WIPs will be uploaded.

If I do upload any artworks, it's likely to be of photo quality than scanned ver. 

This could be the worst decision I ever made for ppl who r watching this blog but to protect my art, it can't be helped.

And of course, I know that watermarks can still be taken away and art thief can still happen... 

Yes and I can't do anything beyond that- it's the same as music; will you buy if you know there's online download of the song? Same as art, if you can easily take an art by just editing away the watermarks and use them to sell & earn money, why nt?-It's free money~

Plus there's a chance I'm moving to tumblr for easier upload and writing(and cos most ppl I followed in twitter r on tumblr~)

Art updates

In addition to the format change, with sch started, I don't have the luxury to spend much time on art. I still draw but just not as much as before^^; Currently has too many WIPs I love to finish but time really isn't on my side... And recommended to follow my twitter for WIPs; recently hadn't been active on insta...

The [LL random doodles] series will hav to be on hold for now- if I do hav inspiration on it, I may work on it?

For compilation of artworks, with sch, I'm trying my best to finish up my current WIPs so that I can add them in before August comes to an end but muse driven me is adding more WIPs than finished works... I may extend until the 1st wk of September or before the sept char bdays come.

Side track a bit: 

Talking abt char bdays... Just recently, LL wikia just released the results of Honoka bday contest. Naturally, I wasn't in the top 6(I can never win against those top artist plus Koyomi sensei participated in it!-How can I win???) but that wasn't the depressing part- It was the fact my work didn't even get into the notable mention... 

For the few contests I participated; Umi's, Nozomi's, my works had always been in notable mention but to think the Honoka work I did which I feel was one of my best, wasn't inside...When I first saw it, I felt like I was Chika in ep 8; it was frustrating... 

And I was also reminded of how I gt kicked out of tier 2 in EN UmiMaki event; tier 2 is like the notable mention and I wasn't inside... Plus my work was right at the bottom... It was depressing... Could it hav been b'cos of the message I wrote???-I admitted that it won't sit right for a Honoka fan; the fan may even get annoyed by it and there were numerous times when I felt the need to change yet! B'cos it really is my true words to her, I felt honesty was the best or I would have betrayed my belief...

Nonetheless, what's matters in the end was that I had fun:) Anyway, it wasn't an art competition so it's hard to say where my standard is plus comparing to the other artists, my work is nothing~

Afterword

This post is more like my status or announcement to my audience(if there's any) before I go on an 'infinite' hiatus~ Wouldn't feel right to 'leave' for a long while without saying anything^^;

Very late cos the day I went on my trip, was on her birthday... Couldn't write a proper post for her... Plus rather upload the scanned ver than photo ver(my phone camera isn't very gd^^;)

μ's X Pokemon Go Crossover

Just can't help do this crossover whenever I see the team leaders in Pokemon Go! Not only does the colours match, the height as well!!!^^ Soldier game trio rox!!!

Made new team names & symbols too(for fun) Try guessing the names' meanings- huge hint at the language used:) And the symbols do play a part in the hint! 

**Since I used google translate so no idea if it's the right translation- do correct me if it isn't!

Gundam Wing EW- Pearl Gloss ver

It's an exclusive in this yr's s'pore gunpla expo and since it's same price as the original gundam wing EW, might as well buy this instead~

It's by far the hardest build cos a lot of the parts were hard to fit in tho this also means it's more secure! But b'cos of this too, when fitted wrongly and to pull the parts out, accidentally broke 2 parts *cries*

All in all, I'm glad I finish it:) Leaving the decals for ltr- this and my strike freedom part...

First metal build

Had wanted to try doing cos it looks interesting and while it really is, I think it's gng be my last time doing...

It's soft metal and more than that, it's small and thus the parts r so small that it's easy to break & get frustrated over it... Gd thing there's always super glue to help- just doesn't look nice...

Afterword

That's pretty much all- quite a lot that this post itself is taking up a lot of time and with the horrible weather, I'm pretty much sweating while blogging in the afternoon at home even tho there's fan blowing at me-.-

Much thanks that today's a holiday that I gt the time to update a bit before new stuff comes! A little announcement:

First,the compilation for LL random doodles will be on hold as I'm debating whether to carry on adding more works inside...

Next, the compilation of artworks done since March till now for Pixiv will be extended till end of August since summer only ends ard that time(even tho my country has no 4 seasons~)
Lastly, the jap trip showcase will take a while with sch starting.

Ramblings(welcome to ignore; just for me to vent)

Yesterday was the end of that horrible UmiMaki Sif bloodbath and in the end, as much as I struggled, I couldn't maintain my rank in tier 2... It's my 2nd fail in ranking but knowing u can idolise with seals in the future, it wasn't so bad yet it still hurts....

I decided to see if there's another chance of whether to stay in En by scouting twice of the 11-draws with 100 gems and what do I get... 4 SRs... I just wan a cool UR and that's all I'm asking cos my cool team sux right now but the RNG just don't wan to...

Even so, I didn't think of quitting since the summer event was coming which mean the promo UR Hanayo is coming so I was gonna stay till that event is over and see how is it... But...

The moment someone leaked out that the next event is ChikaRiko token match, I'm so done with EN klab... Plus with the influx of Korean players...I can't do this anymore... 

I really don't wan to quit en mostly cos it's my very first acc that I made a lot of memories with!- My first UR, my first event SR, my first successful & failed tiering & so many firsts I made there... To part with it... It's really hard to but when the environment is too hard to stay, u just hav to leave then... Maybe in the future, I could come back but for now, I'm leaving for a greener place...

Had rambled on my insta cos really I nid it before I go into depression... 

And so, with school starting, need reduce all my hobby life and get a better sleeping habit! Yesterday was first day of sch and it was quite tiring from waking up early and then listening to 3.5h straight lect to rushing home for SIF(which was a wasted effort) Luckily it's holiday today; gt a great rest, sleeping in!

Small update: starting sch...-.-

It's been a long while- was kinda 'busy' wrapping up the stuff needed to do before my sch; both my hobby work & school work~

Came back from my trip like 2 weeks ago and was sorting out the stuff bought- will showcase when I'm ready to^^;(Will provide a sneak preview at the end~)

This is nt like my usual update cos *look at time* it's late & nid wake up early for sch and that if you do follow my insta, twitter or deviantart, u would know I did quite a no. of works(more like doodles) that it will take time to do a post on them so I'm leaving it when I gt the time to(likely to be next wk so stay tune~)

But here's a little something to make up; the 2 WIPs I am working on last few days ago:

A few ramblings(before the horror starts...)

Managed to finish all my gunpla backlogs(cleared up for future builds...?) Hurry for me but seriously RG is really a pain to build yet the details kept me going for it...

And then, there's SIF... EN Klab really is calling the blood and sweat tho having the MakiUmi event now is better than later cos of the immigration of the Korean players- either way, it sux and boiled down to the planning...Sigh, for Umi, shall burn those love gems!!!(Thank god it's ending tmr but my ranking isn't very gd- mostly cos of the August babies/ bdays...)
