[Updates]Not leaving DA- RWBY shirt...?あと五日！！！

Before starting proper, abt the deviantart thingy, I would say I didn't read carefully. Even so, will be more... Conscience when I upload stuff since if there r ppl stealing from there then, it just means the security there isn't too... Tight?

Then again, it's an art community- it's kinda like a 'buffet' for art thief... I suppose doodles/photos of works will be available as it is; can be easily downloaded if ppl wan to(but if u r gonna use, repost or do anything to it, it's only polite to let me know even after putting the credits- don't wan to hav a 'heart attack' upon finding out...*Thought back to the fb matter...*)

So, I'm nt leaving DA!- No idea who will(or will there even hav ppl) reading this; it's just a reply/response to the previous post & to set thing right(Did ramble a bit in twitter...^^;)

And now with that settled, back to the usual~ 

It's the 2nd last week of June and time really flies! My summer vacation's ending in ard 1 mth time & it really felt so... Fast! Had been drawing a lot in this break or rather this is like my only time I can draw with ease & often!
Tbh, this break should have been the time to find a temporary job and earn some money but I just wan to rest before school starts(again-.-) And anyway, it's work till death after graduation so y not enjoy while it lasts?
I digress a bit but I never really understand how boring holidays can be for ppl when my friends complained that they hav nothing to keep them occupied & thus get a job to do the job...

Maybe it's my love for art- my daily routine is just: draw, rest, draw, rest, draw before ending the day...Adding a few other activities like gunpla building(still gt 2 backlogs...), playing my DS or just simply going for a ride on my bike~ Such is my life but it's a carefree one:)
However there r times I feel kinda... Dead...? It's just a repetition of drawing, drawing and more drawings to the pt I had no idea how many hav I done until now...
And I can say I kinda push myself a lot- may hav been even more busy than I am in sch...I really hav no love for myself, haha...

Random LL doodles

Somehow, I managed to finish up the shaded & colour ver of the Nozoeli arc of both Eli & Nozomi sides this week & just yesterday, added the dialogue!(the scans came in early so~)

Talking abt the fanbk, a great(?) news: compiled the present works & wow, there r currently a total of 27 pages! And there r many more coming!- One more manga to put a closure for this mini series & thinking of doing doodles of NozoEli casual outfits(as seen in Nozomi POV) 

Also, may add a few more scenes of the other pairings(had been focusing too much on my fave trio and the glass garden pair...)

RWBY possible proj

This is just an idea but I like to see ppl responses toward it! 

There's this RWBY work which I finished abt a week ago(you can see HERE) & I'm thinking of opening up pre-order for the artwork to be printed into shirts(judging from the amt of faves...)

I had already make one for myself:

Me wearing it- cos it's taken from a mirror; the artwork is mirror-imaged...

It's nt gonna be cheap; ard $30+ per shirt(haven't asked how much will it be if it's in bulk order...) But anyway, it's just an idea; may/may not carry it out!-Just wan to see the responses before deciding^^;

Aqours Anime countdown

Started this mini proj abt 4 days ago which was 9 days before the anime debut(2/7)! 

And the progress so far:

Abt this proj, (it was after done with Yohane's art) I was very tempted to abort this project... The more I draw, the more I felt the characters aren't looking like how they should be(they r becoming more manly or just plain OOC...-.-) And to add to it, I suppose the likes gotten were so low that I felt it reflected how I feel abt the art... But I dislike giving up halfway & nt sure what, why, how, the likes gotten for Yohane kinda pumped me up a bit: 

But the one that reignites my motivation was this:

  

^Really surprised by the likes & the comment(in yellow) made it even better(was even honoured to be commented by this sensei- saw his/her art & really wish I can reach that level~)

And so, I continued(the You art) & decided to see to it to its end! Another 5 more days!!! Can't wait for it!!!

Just this week, (finally) finish one of 2 last requests!!! This particular request really took quite a while with edits here and there- it's also the same one I rambled over 2 posts(now that I think abt it- kinda felt bad now...-.-)

I admit the process really was... But it was an experience I'll never forget; made me realised both how I'm not cut out for requests & that drawing diving gears isn't as hard as I thought it would be~

After talking things out, finally uploaded the work- see HERE

While the requesters prefer that, I prefer this:

^For someone who is bad at backgnd, to be able to kinda get the underwater effect, I think it's considered nt bad? And the bubbles too~ 

The rocks were fun to draw(& shade)- needed to do a bit of research^^;

As for the last request, already done with draft. Hopefully able to finish before June ended...o.o

[Updates]: Small sad news...

Another week over, leaving like 2 weeks before June's over -.- But it also means closer towards the summer animes!!!- esp a particular one on July 2!!!- Another 13 more days!!!(Gng try do something special for them:)

Nothing special; 'working' as per normal on my art 'projects'~ Still gt 2 more requests to work on... Hopefully, finish both by this week- don't wan to drag any longer...

Well then, now the updates:

Done with both the shaded & colour ver of the NozoEli manga~

As mentioned in my last few post, I won't be uploading the colour ver; only doing that when I'm done compiling the fanbk~

Oh and gt the idea to link this NozoEli manga to the Tsubasa Vs Umi mini series:) There will be 2 additional ones; one of Eli's POV & the other in Nozomi's POV!- Guess the sudden muse hits me & prove done with both & sent for scanning

First, Eli's POV:

This takes place after Tsubasa Vs Umi_Honoka side(see here: LINK). This shows a bit of Eli's past & her hate for vamp(Honoka's in for a fight...) 

And Nozomi POV:

This follows after the NozoEli manga but not necessarily linked; can be separated read! 

The manga shows how NozoEli met & a little of Nozomi's character(but that can only be seen after the dialogue is added which I did in insta/twitter:) 

Quite satisfied & enjoyed drawing NozoEli's outfits here; a break from drawing their char intro outfit, esp for Eli(her armour while it's nice, it's nt easy to draw^^;) Plus the hand holding cup- took me a while to get it; nt used to drawing such hand posture...)

And nt sure if ppl'll realised but their first conversion is quite similar to that in anime(gt a part of my inspiration from there~)

Also, it's lucky that I finished outlining this work before my marker dies on me><

Dk what drove me but just finished the shaded ver of NozoEli_Eli's POV- took a while & may hav overworked my hand a little... 

And just bought the marker set- giving Sakura brand a try again(seems like a lot of artists use this o.o)

Before I forgot, most likely there will be another one or two manga after these 2 to wrap up both mini series- already gt the idea; just nid to draw it out which is the hard part...

Just gt the scanned piece of the request work; will be working on it(wan to get it done asap; already dragged long enough...) And this is & likely to be the only request work I actually needed to scan b'cos the paper is ruined from over editing(gt to stop or risk talking too much...) 

Small sad(?) news

I'm thinking of quitting from Deviantart after seeing this post: link. Never thought DA has such a policy so... I... May still post but in low quality? I'm leaving the high quality ones to Pixiv; it seems Pixiv respects the artists more... And of course, twitter as well; insta is more for photo taking~

Well, it'll be disheartening to leave(had been a Deviant for 7 yrs...) but can't be helped...

Also, thought double SR event is only reserved for Aqours in Jp but how wrong I was when the next one is NozoPana event-.- Lucky(?) for Nozomi fans since SR Nozomi(up to 3 copies) can be obtained through points:) while Pana for tiering~ Just gonna try get 2 Nozomi & 1 Pana... I'm hoping Umi will pair up with either Kotori/Honoka(More fun to tier~)

2nd wk into June & slowing working on the pending works.

Updates as usual but less than before cos was busy, working on Nozomi bday & RWBY works + that 1 request thingy that was taking far long from edits & stuff(will ramble at the end)

Ohara Mari- 13/6/16

The day(13/6) haven't ended so here's the work did for her:

 

The idea stems from how Mari does horse-riding; did a small bonding scene of her with her horse(tho based on the description given of her horse before in the Q&A section of dengeki G's magazine, it's nt accurate-.-)

This is my 2nd time drawing a horse and it proves to be difficult for me as animal drawing isn't my style but I had fun working on it despite the numerous ref needed to do(^^;) The colouring nid more work...

Gt a certain luck of getting her despite buying not many Aqours stuff... She may be the 'Maki-luck'(Refer to this post under Maki bday section) for me in Aqours stuff...?

Still in the midst of working NozoEli manga(^^;) Thought out some ideas of expanding the work to link Tsubasa Vs Umi part with NozoEli part:) So far, 3 short manga r planned out; 2 sides of NozoEli + the return of...(Will reveal more when the time comes~)

There should be progress on this in the next update post- pls look forward to it^^

FAM 16

Short for Funan Anime Matsuri 2016- it's gng be the last one as Funan's going into renovation at end June(gng miss it & the event itself...It's 1 less anime event next yr...)

This event started on June 6 till June 12(just yesterday) I would say the event is more catered to cosplayers & cosplay fans as there r many guest cosplayers invited for meet-and-greet session. 

I'm nt a fan of cosplay so only went for the anime fair that only starts in the last 2 days of the events- much like the doujin mkt last mth in suntec &... Really short on $$$ but there was a great deal &...U know the story;

Ta da~ Gt influenced much & actually bought YohaRiko instead of my usual ChikaRiko(just sank the ship...) And the Umi was the last one so~

Oh and nt to forget, the horror house[6 exits] & the escape room based on assassination classroom

Pokemon cafe SG

Went last weekend with my family~ And I think I will summarise my trip with 2 collages:

Food ordered; mostly drinks~

Loots gotten~

The wait wasn't as horrible as the hello kitty; abt 1.5h?-But that's partly cos the hype kinda dies out after ard 2 weeks.

The food was decent; didn't order the main course cos the free mug wasn't available for taking & since it's from EWF, the truffle fries r nice:) 

And the parfait- the cotton candy was a bit tricky to eat; require 2 utensils to pull it out, haha^^; The pikachu cookie/cake inside was nice but the mango part at the end could be too sour to ppl's liking(to me, it's alright:) 

As for the drinks, Volt tackle drink(the one with a pikachu ice floating) is great for ppl with a sweet tooth~ Plus it comes with popping candies:) 

The one I drank was the Pikachu iced latte- heard from review, it's nt bad but if u r one who can't take bitterness, u wouldn't like it. I'm nt sure if there's sugar syrup there(u can try asking) but I was fine with the drink as it is. And the top pikachu part is actually whipped cream which actually if it was mixed with the latte, it wouldn't be too bitter but...No idea what kind of whipped cream is it, it was quite sticky and thick that the straw can't suck it up-.-(I gave up mixing it with the latte...) The ears of the pikachu can be taken... I think?- I mean I did eat, feel like biscuit but the taste wise...

Lastly, the blue drink was just normal soda pop with blueberry flavour(much like the blue mountain dew drink) but the catch is that u can bring back the bottle! Again, heard from review that it was originally $3 less in which u can't bring back the bottle but now, u can- it's a great souvenir from the cafe while the free mug's unavailable.

Overall, just like any char cafes in SG(lately there r many...) the prices r ex; just 1 visit is enough- maybe in the case of the Pokemon cafe which is only available until end July, ppl would wan to go while it's still here...?

Rambling(ignore if dislike)

So the request thing... It's the same particular one I mentioned a few posts ago. I suppose I gt kinda flared-out by how much edits the person wanted and just asked the person to choose; the changes he asked r gonna be the last or I quit- it's take it or leave it. I know the cost of being this... Bad but if I don't, I'm gonna be the one suffering...

Initially, the requests r supposed to finish by May so that I hav more time for myself and I admit I couldn't finish them all by May, I was hoping to get it over with at the start of June but now, cutting into mid June, I'm still nt done with this single request... And still gt 1 more to do...

The whole 1st wk of June was like a dance, a never-ending one where I edit the draft according to the person's request and then ltr the person will pt out more stuff to edit...

Tbh, I was very tempted to just say I quit and nt do anymore but I did promise and even made the person waited. And so, I gave him 2 options of whether to continue or nt.

Requests r really nt my style unless it's something I don't mind doing- there was 1 time someone requested LL fanart; any fanart as long as it is LL! No fixed stuff or theme to do & that pretty much is what I am looking for!

But instead I gt OCs draw that while I don't dislike, I don't like either... But like I mentioned b4(I think in twitter), if I can do it, I will and not doing cos I dislike is a bad excuse...

And so, this is my last time opening a request box. Maybe consider doing if ppl request and I felt like it...I nid to learn to say "no"...

Ranting time(similar to the post on instagram):

Nozomi isn't my faves but I don't hate her(don't hate any of the member since they each has their flaws and good pts in them which LL anime, SID, etc show it out~)

When I first saw her in the anime and well... She has the mother figure and is quite 'knowledgeable'; she's seen as a wise person one would go for advice of(esp love...or maybe nt to spare the teasing...)
That was something I admire in her but couldn't relate b'cos I'm nt such person^^;
As such, I couldn't understand/relate to her much and esp her fave 'washi-washi'... But when LL Season 2 ep 8 came, man... I kinda understand where she's coming from now and she's quite strong to bear it all...I saw her in a new light I guess?

And so, HBD Nozomi!

Oh, also, it was for fun and since I made it in time... I decided to submit my entry to LL wikia Nozomi giveaway!

[Updates] Gunpla Expo SG 16, LED cube

Time flies and it is June already; 2 more mths before sch starts again... Ahhh, just thinking of the end... Still gt much to do-.- Shall avert my eyes from the little time I've and enjoy while I can~

Much like last yr's gundam docks with the exclusives here and there~ Here's the limited kits:

The only that caught my eye is the Gundam Wing EW Pearl Gloss Ver.(the 00 raiser as well but... I already one & it's RG too so... Also, nt sure y the price of normal RG gundam wing EW is of the same prize as the exclusive... Since I haven't built it b4...) And well~

Just gt that(likely to be in my backlog...) and a stand for my HG Barbatos(here's how it looks like:)

Should I go watch the anime?o.o

A head-up: there's a redeem card that can be gotten for every $30 spent which entitled the person a sticker, depending on the week of redemption. The sticker is of the 4 different coloured mini bearguy; 1st wk's red, 2nd wk's blue, 3rd wk's yellow and lastly, 4th wk's pink~ But before redeeming, there's a nid to collect the stamp- the locations r given on the card~ Have fun hunting!(it's quite simple; hint: to check the map for the location stated in each floor:)

It was a random request by my sis and well... Real person sketch is nt my strong pt(back in my middle sch...) but decided to try...

It's heavy in soldiering- if it was the yr 1 me, I would hav died, haha(all those practices until now help~) Faced problems here and there(had to de-soldier ard 10+ pins cos placed wrongly-.-) And was quite slow that I feel stressed at how ppl finish within 1 day... Only sad thing is how I didn't learn the programming well...(well it can be self-learned plus it's a bit like C programming which I had learned b4)

Think that's all then. Had been spending much- nid to cut down and nt sure if finding a temp job to earn some $$$... Tbh, I don't really wan to work but rest my body b4 sch starts again(I did put a lot of stress on my body last sem, both physically & mentally...)

And then, LL franchise's pumping in so much stuff... RIP $$$...(There's SIF... For the 1st Aqours event, felt the staff didn't put in a lot of efforts; both idolised & unidolised look plain...Tiering only b'cos 2 of my faves r inside...)

Oh and had been drawing so much that I wish I can play some RPG games but nt sure what to play-.-(Should I return to DragonNest... Bet I gt kicked out of the guild...)
