Happy First Anniversary, Yūjin!

Just remembered today is my blog's first birthday! Happy Birthday! It's been a year since I created this blog and made my first post! Man, I'm glad that I managed to keep blogging until now and not get tired of it!- It is an accomplishment. This blog had served as a platform for me to pen my thoughts down to sort out my feelings and emotions! It certainly became a irreplaceable friend of mine! Let's continue being friends!

Due to my computer being problematic, I couldn't do much adjustment to the blog... Sorry but instead of giving you a do-over, I decided to change how I address you! It's nothing special but I thought of calling you Yūjin! It is friend in Japanese and it sounded nice! In addition, you're a friend; not just a blog.

With that, my resolution for Yūjin will be that it will be that I will get to celebrate Yūjin's birthday the next year, the year before and even in the future!

That's about it then! It is a short post but it served as reminder or milestone that Yūjin just turned one year old! See you in the next post and look forward on my post about the stuff I bought in Japan!

Back From Heaven and I feel like going again...

Hi all, it's been a while. As said before, I was away for a while on an one week trip and I was back a few days ago. From the title, you must be thinking where exactly did I go. To anime fans like me, it is heaven and you can guess where is it...(DRUMROLL, please!)...JAPAN! Yes, Japan. This is my forth trip there and yet I don't get tired of it at all! The culture there has always been captivating and one that I admire from the people's kindness and politeness! The language barrier was a problem but that was not going to stop me from communicating with the people there!
Considering I went there in December, I was met with quite a cold climate that I wasn't used to. It was an experience and the best of all... I saw REAL SNOW for the FIRST TIME! For someone who is born in a country without four seasons, seeing real snow is really a big eye view for me!
Next, this trip was the first time I ate bento! Just this trip alone, I had ate 3 times and man, it was great that how badly I wished such a thing actually existed in my country! Below are some of the bentos I ate throughout the trip.

Bentos would be great if not for the coldness. Out of all, omu rice was the best but sadly due to it being cold, it wasn't that good; it would be good if eaten warm.
Following that, this is also my first time I am on a bullet train. Can't really see or feel the difference between a normal and this but certainly, this is fast; since going from Osaka to Tokyo could actually use a plane to get there, then using this train and only require 2 hours plus ride, I guess the train is really fast. The best thing about train rides is that you can eat and drink in them! In my country, I can't so it is like a person will have to endure an hour without eating or drinking in the train... Kinda sad but the rule is there so that the trains are clean so I can understand.

The train ticket to Odaiba is my favourite due to the colour blue which is my favourite colour and the design. Beside that, I went to a lot more theme parks this time! There're Universal Studio Japan(USJ), DisneySea, Joypolis and J world! The tickets are as followed:

If I were to rate them from least like to best like... I will put USJ as the most like, followed by DisneySea then J world before Joypolis. The rating is kinda biased since the theme park that I put as forth, I did not play much and next, it is indoor... The third was due to the fact that the rides were mainly kiddy rides. For teenagers like me, it was a relaxed theme park. Then, you'll be wondering why I put  J world as the third... It is partly due to the fact that every ride comes with a free coin! I know you must be thinking I am some cheap person... Well, I don't deny that since I do like being given gifts. For the other two parks, they were both outdoor parks! Again, the rating is biased since I did not play all rides in DisneySea and also, this is my second time going there so the excitement naturally isn't the same as the first while USJ was my first time. Man, there were similarities between USJ and USS like there were the water ride and 4D Shriek Movie.

Moving on, Japan is quite considerate to people's wants and needs.

Like in the photo, during sunday, all roads are closed (at least in Akihabara). People can walk anywhere without fear of any incoming cars or wait for traffic lights. In other words, they walk the whole streets of Akihabara like a boss. This actually make the walking faster and easier! 

In addition, like my country, they have CIP and the best is that, due to the season, the people involved wore santa costumes as seen in the photo below.

   

Also, their buildings are great with anime pictures! Their trains too!

Then, in Ikebukuro's animate, at the 7th floor, there was a showcase of attack on titan. Considering it being the one of the best animes this year, it does not struck me as shocking. Its popularity can be on par with SAO.

Lastly, the scenery in Japan wasn't bad; with the leaves on trees turning yellow and red.

New toy

Hi all. I'm back for another post. This time, I'll be talking about the new toy I had over the week to experiment on!

It's none other than a planting kit!

 From the image, you can see that the plant I will be growing, is lucky clover! Basically, this kit is actually made from japan. (You'll know why in a short while...) Inside this ceramic jar, the 'materials' are all inside.

At first, I thought those 4 'things' are the seeds but in the end, they were not...Sigh... I really don't know anything about planting... Next, as you can see from the instruction sheet, it is all in Japanese... I was dumbfounded by it but later seeing that there's pictures, not able to read Japanese isn't that bad; at least I can still follow via those pictures. Just that the warning at the end, I needed someone to help me translate a bit... Anyway, I managed to make the soil which require water for it to soften before adding the seeds in. Following that, it is the observation period with care and love added in. Below is the 6-days observation period:

For the first 2 days, there was no spout...I was a little worried, thinking I did something wrong and the planting failed or something but! On the third day, one of the seed finally spouted!- I was overjoyed and gained back my confidence and continued to show my care and love! Before long, on the 4th or 5th day, the plant grown even longer! Banzai desu! ^^

With that, I'll continue to observe it and await the time when the leaves are out and then the flower! Hope a nice lucky clover really grow out of it!

For the weaponry session that I said in the last post, I'm sorry to say that there was not much progress due to me being occupied in a MMORPG game called Dragon Nest. You can find me as Aestron03 if you're a player there in the world, Springwood! In addition, there'll be no post next week as I'll be out of country but reassure that when I'm back, there'll be a lot of surprises and updates to look forward to!

劇場版 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ 叛逆の物語 Magical Girl Madoka Magica: Rebellion Movie Review

Hi to all! Like I said, I'll be posting the anime movie, Madoka Movie 3: rebellion review. But, before that, a little intro to this awesome anime that was shown in 2011 if I am not wrong!

This anime, Magical Girl Madoka Magica is as the title said, a magical girl show. Before you think that all magical girl shows are like precure, fighting villians and saving the day with a good ending, think again; cos this anime is going to give you a different perspective of the life of a magical girl!
What we normally see in a magical girl show is of girls either being chosen or choose to become a magical girl. These girls will then have the ability to transform into their magical girl forms in which the forms give them inhuman strength, defense and abilities such as jumping so high that they can almost touch the sky or flying. Likewise, this anime does grant the girls these abilities. However, what differs this magical girl anime from other similar types is the horrible truth of what the girls sacrificed in becoming magical girls and the dangers that come along with it... In a way, it makes sense that a price is needed to pay for one to be granted inhuman abilities and that's not all. The girl become a magical girl after she is granted a wish. At this point, you'll think that this is TOO GOOD a deal; First, you get a wish of yours to be granted and next, you become a magical girl after having your wish granted!- How cool is that?

Like I said before, sacrifices are made and these sacrifices are pretty much too cruel and let alone to befall a girl... To add up the cruelty, the one that grants the girls wishes is a little cute but creepy (sort of) animal. Audience who watch the beginning would never believe that animal is an evil being since our mindsets are set that cute beings are harmless creatures. Well, you'll be proved wrong in this show.
To sum up, this anime is an angst genre story but reassure the ending isn't very bad though I wouldn't say it is a happy one...

 I think I have rambled too much on the anime itself so I'll move onto the review itself now. Before that, I like to say that the movie I watched was sort of a cam rip by someone so the quality isn't the best but okay enough to watch and understand the gist of the story! I like to give a big thank you to that person! If not for him/her, I would have to wait for around another 3 to 4 months or so to watch it! If you want to watch, you can go to this LINK! If you've not watch the first 2, you're recommended to watch unless you've already watched the anime since the first two pretty much sum up the 12 episodes. The first 2 movies can be found in the same website given in the link. (Just search under movies/OVA) The slight difference in the sum-up 2 movies and the 12 episodes, is the new opening sang by Claris, called luminous in the 2 movies. Here's the video:

And here is the opening for movie 3: rebellion. Similarly, it is sang by Claris, called Colourful- It is a nice song that I recommended Jpop lovers to download! The video is of bad quality since this is a cam rip version... The HD version will only be out with subs in like 3 to 4 months from now unless you live in western countries that have movie screening of this movie...

With that, I'll start my review! First of all, this movie was much anticipated by many Madoka Fan since this movie continues from the anime storyline. A large number of fans was hoping a happy ending especially for the couple(?), Homura and Madoka aka HomuMado for short. The storywriter, Gen Urobuchi, was going to give the fans a happy ending for this couple and sort of end this anime once and for all. However, in the end, there was a twist and the ending sent many of the fans speechless, even me too...

I wouldn't say I like the ending very much yet I can't say I dislike it completely; partly it does give room for a sequel-I am hoping for one if there is! Another reason is that the ending, if one watch it without thinking a bit, it would be seen as bad but after having thought over it and reading a fanfic speculating how this ending will turn out in the future of Madoka's world, it isn't that bad. To be fair, there is no decision that one can deem as the perfect good end yet the opposite holds true too; no decision is completely bad...

In addition, audience also think that this ending has many plot holes since there was a drastic change in one of the character and she was my favorite character but to change until like that... I'm speechless. The change may be drastic but I think there was much foreshadowing in the movie that led to this conclusion.

For one, before Homura went to acknowledge the truth of her being a witch, she met with Madoka. The conversion between the two of them led to Homura to realise that Madoka never liked the decision she made to sacrifice her life to eliminate all witches Next, this is just my opinion but it would seem that Homura herself could not bear to leave Madoka.

Thus, to satisfy both her and what she think Madoka want instead, she become a demon, taking over Madoka's place as a god and rewriting the world where all the magical girls can live peacefully, including Madoka... This is what the rebellion means; Homura rebelling against Madoka...

One could never believe that of all the girls... The one who desperately want to save Madoka, would be the one rebelling against Madoka... To many, she will be the last character people had in mind who would be capable of such a feat...  That's why the twist was so big that some think it is unbelievable and have many plot holes.

One of the plot holes was that given that Madoka is a god, she should have foresaw Homura's rebel yet she was not prepared at all... For this point, I got a theory to support the story than this point. As the people who had watched the movie, they would know that Madoka's memories were like overwritten and she does not remember her identity nor her mission... I think that after the barrier placed around Homura's soul gem was broken and Madoka came to get Homura, Madoka could be slowly remembering the stuff she seen. Since she came to get Homura right after she returned to her god form, she may have not remembered Homura's outcome and thus fell into Homura's trap... Another theory that I thought of while typing is that Kyubey did say that the barrier that it placed, separated Homura's soul gem from Madoka's influence. In that case, maybe whatever outcome Homura's soul gem ended up could not be foreseen by Madoka? Then again this is just my viewpoint and considering in the world of anime, infinite theories can be made that seem impossible in reality but possible in the anime world!

Another plot hole which I think I myself have only a bit of a theory to help justify the movie is how Homura was able to gain the ability to become an akuma... For Madoka's case, audience can understand since it is Kyubey which did it but Homura... There was no one(for now...) and she just simply became an akuma because of her love for Madoka. (happiness for HomuMado fans?) For now, I can only say that maybe there is a third force doing this and this third force may hate Madoka as a god. Bear in mind there could be other gods beside Madoka herself in the world...

I think these are just the questioning plot holes that I find interesting to be pointed out. To sum up, audience said that Madoka's love is considered selfless love while Homura's is considered selfish love... I neither completely agree nor disagree. I can understand and agree that Madoka's love is selfless since she sacrificed her normal life to help make the world a better one but for Homura's case... It is the same as how one see the ending. To me, at first, I thought the ending was bad as Homura just betrayed Madoka and took her place so that Madoka would have a normal life, away from her god's role without ever asking Madoka's opinion... In a way, Homura was forcing her ideas onto Madoka...

Yet again, one should think again that maybe... Just maybe Homura was sacrificing her life for Madoka's happiness even though it is a forced one in making this rebellion. No one ever said that Madoka's decision was the best since it was happy ending for all except herself... People may argue that "no, Homura still has her life as a whole." But this depends one how one sees it. To me, Homura pretty much manipulate the people to suit her needs and wants. In a way, her life could be spent on a false belief... This will not be much of a difference from how Madoka was forgetton in the world she changed; false could be equivalent to nothing... In the nutshell, I could not agree with Homura's love as a selfish one...

In conclusion, this movie was great in my opinion. The opening theme, colourful by claris is a great song that
I can't get enough of listening to it. The ending theme, Kimi no Gin no Niwa, was also great since it was sang by none other than Kalafina! For the visual part... I wouldn't say it was bad but the art the anime adapted, does not appeal to me much. The art was the reason I had my doubts in watching this anime but the story pretty much hooked me up fast. Nonetheless, I believe all artists have their own styles and me disliking the art does not mean others dislike too. To give a overall rating, I will give a high score of 8/10!

I think this is about it then. As I am more passionate about anime, I typed a lot more than the previous movie review... Not being biased or anything but I got more stuff to talk about for this movie than the previous one.

A little update to be made: I'll be posting another post on what to expect in the following week as I got a new 'toy' to play with and experiment on plus the fact that I'll be working on my weaponry project! Catching Fire Movie Review

As said in my previous post, I was going to watch the movie, Catching Fire from the Hunger Games series. Catching Fire is the second book in the hunger games saga.

 A little intro to Hunger Games story: The story is set to a settling where the place is divided into 12 districts with each district focusing on one thing like for district 7, it focus on plantation. The name of the story basically is as said a game. The game functions in a way that every year, two people from each district, one male and one female will be chosen to be sent to participate in this game. Before you think that all games are fun and everything, then you're very wrong. Hunger game is something like battle royale in which the participants have to kill each other with the last one standing as the victor. From the number of districts, if you do the maths, there are a total of 24 participants and only one can come out of the game alive... You can see how twisted the society to be suggesting such a game.
I'm not going to say more and spoil it to people who have not read... If you're curious to know more, just go to this LINK.        

With that, I'll start the movie review then... 

Spoilers ahead if you've not read or watch Hunger Games... 

Catching Fire starts off with the main character, Katniss Everdeen, hunting with her Boyfriend, Gale Hawthorne. At this point, this may give the impression that maybe the main character is able to enjoy some peace after being in a horrible game where killing is second nature to all the participants.

However, this impression was quickly shot down; just as when Katniss was going to shoot down her prey, a turkey, she saw Peeta and she shot him down with her arrow. At this point, the audience could be thinking, how and why on earth was Peeta there? Well, it is basically Katniss' delusion and her boyfriend, Gale, had to calm her down from that trauma. It is hardly surprising and even less, given that Katniss is a girl, that she will suffer some mental trauma from that killing game. It will be a little unrealistic if she don't and more so since she is not one who kills...

The two hunters decided to call it a day and headed back in which there was a small kissing scene between them before they went their separate ways...

When Katniss reached her house, she was greeted by people in suits that meant business when she saw President Snow,  paying a visit to lament about his displeasure of her act since it is considered an act of rebellion in Snow's viewpoint... Thus to make the outcome works and everything, he pressured or rather threatened Katniss to convince him that both she and Peeta are lovers or else her loved ones will suffer and a projection of the kissing scene earlier between Gale and her was shown, indicating that she was under his close watch. Message: one wrong move and say goodbye to your loved ones... That pretty much ends the 'peaceful' life Katniss thought she would have after the game... It also shows why the society was twisted, given such a ruler...

Moving on, there was the practice of victors of the game to give a speech to each district for their killed members in the game... In my opinion, if I were to put in a good note, this practice pretty much could be said to honor those who lost their lives to that game but to have the victors making the speeches... I think it was just rubbing salt on the wounds of the people, especially the families of the killed members... Something like laughing in their faces and I bet that was what the practice was for...

 However, as expected from the main character, the practice, instead of having that effect, drove people further to rebel against the Capital when she expressed her own feelings on the game. Katniss witnessed first hand of what happen to people who rebel; they were killed on the spot... Being the soft girl she was, she felt responsible for it and decided to follow the script given than give her own but it did not help much as people continue to rebel... This somewhat foreshadowed that Katniss has became the rebellion icon...

Of course, this angers one person very much; President Snow... He pretty much want Katniss to be dead but with a good reason or else the injustice of her death without reason will bring more uprising... To do so, the 75th Hunger Game will have participants from existing victors instead of the regular tradition of choosing new participants from each district. You can see how unfair this is. It is like the victors had experienced a torture to survive that hellish game and thought they were finally free... And now, they had to come back and compete just b'cos 75th game is considered special since it is the third quarter game or something... The main character is once again thrown into that game again... And you wonder how cruel Fate can be...

Before the announcement of the 75th hunger games, due to the threat, Katniss decided to marry Peeta to 'convince' President Snow of their 'love'. It's sad in a way since it is a forced love but in the perspective of people who only watch or read until catching fire... I'm not going to say too much to spoil everything but at this point, putting myself in the shoes of those who have not read the last book, a forced love will not bring happiness...

THE GIRL ON FIRE!

Following that, it is the standard procedure where participants will showcase themselves and there's the return of the girl on fire! Then, there's the training session where there are some interactions between the participants and the introduction of the concept of force field. Before long, it is the interview of the participants where they showed their displeasure over been chosen AGAIN for the game...

Finally(for me that is), the starting of the hunger games!- I know it is nothing to be happy about but I am one for action genre so the starting somewhat bored me a bit but I am not going to dislike it; the starting is necessary for the build-up after all! The arena this time... If I was one of the participant, I am long dead... The participants started at a platform and the surrounding is all water with some land... In other words, if you can't swim, that's pretty much the end for you... Of course, as if the main character will be beaten down by such a obstacle, once the game, she dived in and rushed to get her weapon, a bow. Since the participants are existing victors, the first day of the game already had 8 dead.-One third of the participants just got wiped off...

The game is just like before; there are many traps. The game works in a way like a clock. A lightning will struck a particular tree. This is a signal for the upcoming trap. From the movie, there were poison gas, aggressive monkeys and hot blood bath... Each trap is deadly and to kill the participants... The best part is the implementation of the force field that almost cost Peeta's life. I'm always amazed at the force field thing since it is like a transparent barrier... Excuse my fantasy... The story didn't ended with a victor as Katniss, being the daredevil she was, tied the copper wire(if I'm not wrong) that conducted the electricity from the lightning onto her arrow and shot at the force field when the lightning was going to strike. The impact was huge and you wonder if she survive...

Being the main character... It is hardly a surprise that she survive but what is surprising is the news she got when she saw the game master, her mentor and another participant having some meeting and telling her to be the icon of rebellion... After everything, any people would break down on the spot and gone crazy... Sigh... The next news was even worse as Katniss learned that her hometown is gone when Gale told her that District 12 is no more or rather there are no more district except one... District 13... Can you imagine yourself being sent to overseas for studying or something and come back to learn the news that your country or your hometown is gone?-That's pretty much how Katniss would have felt at that moment of truth... With that, the story ends and I await the next and last installment of the hunger games series, Mockingjay.

Overall, it is a decent movie though for me who is sucker for action, it is boring in the first half with all the talking before it gets interesting... The graphics are fine to me but the theme song this time does not appeal to me; I prefer Hunger games theme song, Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift! In my opinion, I would say Hunger games would be a better movie than Catching fire... Then again, a book adapted movie would not give much satisfaction since readers like me already know what will happen... The situation the characters were in and the problem they had will not daze the readers since they know how it will all end... I can't say much but if I am to give a rating out of ten, being the lenient me, I will give a 7 out of 10!

Exams... Are... FINALLY OVER!

Finally! My exams are finally over! The smell of freedom is in the air and man, I finally reach until this point of my life! Banzai! Okay, now I am being over dramatic but being finally free exams is always a great feeling!

Okay, a small greeting to all and it's been a while now. Seems like I hold on to my promise and not blog at all until today! From now on, I'm back to being active again! Look forward to more posts by me!

First let's have a little small debrief about my exams... My exams... I can't confidently say that I will do well... All I can say is that, it's over... Even if I dwell on the bad parts, it isn't going to do anything to the papers I had already passed up... That's why, this little debrief served as a small reminder to me or rather my future me of how I felt during this point of my life. With that, I'll move on to my planned projects!

Well then, I think I will start with some anime reviews, especially the recent anime movie, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Rebellion in my next few posts! I'll finish up the Keyblade Project and made my second own sword! As for my story, I'll continue my story, Dark Tale and reboot it in fictionpress when I'm done editing the existing chapters! For fanfics, I'm thinking of doing some after spending most of my free time after studying to read them to keep myself from bored. Though I've my doubts after seeing how people can be mean when your story isn't up to their standards... Sigh... I'll see how is it so no promises that I'll write fanfics but my own story is definitely continuing! (I want to at least finish the first arc before taking a break or something...) Below will be the list of fanfic ideas I came up with:

1. Kuroki Rei- This is a Vividred Operation fanfic. (If you don't know what anime this is, you should watch it! I won't say it is good and neither will I say it is bad. It passes off as a light-hearted anime! It only have around 12 episodes and I am hoping there will be a second season since there is potential for a second season!) This fic will be about Kuroki Rei as the title implies. (if you've watched the anime, you'll know who she is...) Of course, there will be a huge twist so in a way it is AU but not far off from the main story. I am planning 2 arcs for these and an one-shot for it.                               

Summary: (have not really planned) In the Universe, there are many worlds in it. Beings called 'They' are there to maintain the balance in the Universe. In order to do that, guardians are called to do the job of bringing order by following orders given by 'They'; any threat will be alerted to the guardians to get rid of the threat with elimination as the last resort... In the near future, mankind created something called the Manifestation Engine in which it is a potential threat if used wrongly. Guardians are called in to give tests to mankind in the form of ALONE and so far, none succeeded. Kuroki Rei is a guardian and this is her story of her life before meeting the 4 girls and learn of the importance of friendship.

2. Amnesia- Persona 4 fanfic. This story takes place after P4 Arena. (Not the new one...) It centers around Naoto Shirogane as the main character. The story goes on the fact that Naoto decided to transfer to Gekkoukan High School to help out with the mystery left after the game. On the night of transfer, Naoto got hit by a car which cost her memories. (Hence, the title...) There will be OCs inside and they play a big role but of course not as big as Naoto who is the main character in this story...

3. Switch- MGLN fanfic. Not going to say much so as to not spoilt too much but this idea revolves around the fact that Fate is in a mission. An explosion sent her waking up in a male body and this is her story in which she try to get her body back.

4. MGLN fanfic (name not decided yet...): This is basically a highschool settling where the characters all went to school like any average teenagers and no existence of magic at all. However, is the world really what it seem to be or could there be more to it? It is up to one to choose- To stay ignorant or push forward to know the truth even if the truth isn't something desirable... Set after Strikers. Not including Force or Vivid...

5. NanohaXMadoka Xover (Name not decided yet...): Settling during the snow incident in which Fate does come with Nanoha and Vita on this mission. Instead of Nanoha being injured, Fate went missing and put as MIA. After about 4 years or so since Fate's disappearance, the Ace of Aces is still gloomy but with a little acceptance until she receives a distress call for help (much like how Yunno first ask for her help). Not wasting much time, Nanoha rushed to help the owner of the call for help, together with Arisa, Suzuka and Hayate, finding a blond girl lying on a pool of blood. After having a tough check on the girl, it was no doubt the missing Ace, Fate T Harlaown. Questions arose with one being the most puzzling; where did the Ace go to in the past 4 years?
To say the truth, this is basically a MGLN fanfic but b'cos I'll be using some Madoka characters, I think a crossover will be most suitable... Madoka characters do play a large role in this story! I am planning two sides of N and F so as to give a better view to the readers since I bet readers will be curious as to where the missing Fate went and what have she been doing in that 4 years...

6. The missing digidestined- A digimon fanfic where it centers around an OC who is the 9th digidestined. The absence of the OC causes the barrier between digimon world and the human world to not complete, exposing human world to threat to digimon. This is the story of how the OC handle this new world with Adventures 02 characters (Arc1) and make it a better one with his sacrifice(Arc 2)...
Not going to say much and I know this idea must be used by many already so I've my doubts in writing it... Going to see how things go before I really set my mind to it... FYI: OC's name is Keitaro Kuroki

That's about it. For now, if I am going to write fanfics, these will be the stories I will be writing. However, my own story will still take top priority. Character designs for fanfics and my own story will be up when it's time(I've finished them but like I said when it's time, I will reveal...) The next few posts will be on anime reviews though it may take some time since my com is malfunctioning a bit... Before that, I'll talk a bit on a movie review of Catching Fire- A book-adaption movie from the hunger game series- in the next post since I'll be watching it tomorrow! With that, I'll be signing off; it's getting late now...

Prelims Result

Okay, this is really going to be my last post. I'm going to have my major exams in like a month's time so no more fooling around. Let's cut down to the chase. Today, I received my last paper and well, I wouldn't say it was great but the fact that there's improvement, I'm a little delighted. Overall, the prelims results were worse than my SA2 with much grades dropping but of course there were grades improving as well but just not very much...

First, my GP screwed up, partly from my choice of essay and the fact that I did not understand the comprehension topics... Just hope I would choose the right qn during the exam... Next, my Physics improved the most! It was literally around 3 grades jump I think. The best progress made out of the other subjects! However, the teacher did confess that the paper was easier so... Sigh... On to the next one; my chemistry- No improvement or fall in grade; I maintained my grade but I believed I had under-perform and even my teacher thinks that way. He believes I could get a A in my exam and I really hate to disappoint him like how I disappoint my primary school teacher for having so much faith in me yet I got such terrible result... I always fear myself screwing up, thus has no confident in myself... Low esteem is what I have for myself...Sigh... Moving on, my mathematics... My biggest disappointment but not that I don't expect it to be... I knew my strength and yes, my result had shown the truth so in a way, I trying my best to improve on the area I'm weak at... Lastly, my economics- the last subject papers I received. The grade sucks and with the same reasons as my maths as to why I did badly... I wouldn't say I am very depressed like in my SA2 since I certainly did improve but the truth is still there; there's still much work to be done... Sigh... At least, I no longer feel guilty from not doing my best for this subject!

I'm tempting to tell my teacher the reason I did not perform well is b'cos I'm burning out of fuel... What should I do from now? I wonder if I can ask my teacher such a personal question since I bet I get shot down by my parents if I told them... Don't get me wrong, my parents are great listeners and gave good advices but there are some matters that they don't see the real problem and do not give the advices I am looking for... I got a little depressed from their insensitiveness over what I am going through right now... I had gave up watching anime, reading manga and now you want to give up reading fanfics? I'm going to lose my personal life at this rate... Not saying that I should not sacrifice but can't I have some personal time than just studying? Sigh... Okay, I'll stop now and that's about all my ramblings. Going to upload a character design I did while studying and some great videos I found to share!

End of Prelims

Today marks the end of my prelims. Some stress off, knowing that prelims are over but this is just warming up for the main thing... Overall, I think the prelims are neither easy nor hard. However, in my opinion, it is harder than past years 'A' level papers that I have done. In a way, it is good to be exposed to harder papers so that if this year's 'A' level papers are going to be difficult, then at least the fall in results will not be too big... For my performance in this prelims... I won't say it's good or bad since I know there are questions I don't know and also know how to do. I can't confidently say I did well or bad like my SA2. Nonetheless, what matters is that I did my best!

With prelims over, all that left is for the teachers to mark finish all papers , review and know my performance. About 1 month and a few days left to my first 'A' level paper. Gotta plan for the last lap! I think I'll keep this post short and sweet! I'll end off now!

This manga if my memory serves me right, it is inspired by the words left by Spiderman's uncle; with great power comes great responsibilities. The attire is inspired by Ichigo's current soul reaper clothing. As always, the female is not drawn well... The manga could be said half-finished but I don't intend to finish... Sorry to all... 

For the next manga, I'll first introduce the characters.

Before the manga, I would just say that this manga is like a spoiler to one of the persona 4 fanfic I had planned to write after my As... All I can say is, characters like Sora is like the leader, the player, Luke is like Yosuke; player's partner, Kaido is designed according to Kanji. I won't say much so as to not spoil much. Read it like some one-shot like an ending to a certain story...
The words said are written in different colours to differentiate the different people speaking;

There you have it! After counting all the pages, I'm surprised that I actually did a 22-pages long one-shot. To tell the truth, this one-shot isn't easy to do. Outline all the pencil marks, then need to erase the pencil marks... All the steps aren't easy at all. Sorry if some pages may not be cleaned up well... Miss those pages...Anyway, enjoy the manga. Not going to say much until my fanfic is done. I know it is confusing but just try your best to apprehend the manga. I think I'll upload these on deviantart.
