A second rejection received like a stab in my heart...

It all happened after my previous post. I was just trying my luck and who would have thought it is out. BUT! It was not what I expected...

If you're wondering what sort of rejection (it is definitely not about love), it is simply an rejection from one of the Universities I applied... It felt like a stab in my heart when I saw the status menu. I could have stay ignorant if I didn't check but that's not going to solve it; I have to face it one way or another. At least now, I know that there's nothing much to expect from that Uni and I do not have to choose but go for the degree offered by the other Uni. It is not exactly bad and that for a person who is fickle-minded, I guess this is fate's way choosing for me.

I know my results aren't all that good thus to be able to enter a local Uni than a private one, I've no complaints about it; rather I should feel honored! (I know this is just me trying to cheer myself up...) To say the truth, I was really upset and feel that I must be really lousy to not be accepted while my friends do... However, just as what my friends once said to me, I shouldn't compare with others. And, my mother comforted me in saying that the Uni that rejected me is a popular one(since it is the top Uni in my country) so it is sensible that it will be harder to get in with more people applying.-In a way, it can be seen as I am not lousy but rather the Uni is full with its intakes like a train full of people that it can't be squeezed in anymore. No matter at least I got an offer so I should feel fortunate as compared to those who either fail or don't even get accepted by any of the local Uni!

I always said to myself or rather it was my teacher who inspired me, 'as long as the outcome isn't the end of the world, you can always pick yourself up and continue living! It is only when you reach the point where your life is ending, then it is really game over or else you can always stand up again and move on till the end of your life!'-If it was me in the past, I doubt I will think this way but now with boarder perspective in life, there're much more important things to set as priority.

To add on, I thought the ruin in my mood(due to the rejection) will worsen my next day but apparently not, given I was immersed in work and plus some riddles given by my supervisor. You can say I simply bounced back from this rejection and look forward in moving on with my life!

I guess that's enough ramblings for a day. Sorry if this post is a little depressing and an one-sided cheering-up for the rejected soul... That is all then, this is Will signing off, ja ne~

Game accomplishments and projects' updates...

This week had been a great accomplishment for my game progress.

First, for my brave frontier:
I went for the Wednesday and Thursday dungeon runs and... I gotten these!

 Finally, I got a dark tolem! It appeared during the run for thunder tolem. And with Miracle tolem, I can finally...

EVOLVE my Eze to Holy Eze. In my wildest dream, I would not believe that he would be the first to become 6 stars but as my starter, he would have the honour! And behold...

HOLY THUNDER EZE! One 6 stars done and about 5 more to go.(Sigh) And also with dark tolem, I can evolve my Shinda to 5 stars...

Besides my unit, I am finally a Sage! And, it is always interesting to see Seria's cut-in with the player.

I'm postive that Seria is officially a tsunade; acting all caring until I don't know what did the player do(Smirk?) and she just exploded like literally went from happy to angry(for reasons unknown to me...). The only thing I am curious is the part where she said, she's jealous of the player (for what?) I mean she's so much better than the player at first and I'm sure she is now so what is she jealous about?-I like to know. Oh well, I look forward to seeing her again in the rank where there's a free gem.

On to my MA! There wasn't much progress except that I arousal one of my gold cards. Nice change of colour...

Lastly, the game 2048. It is a game where u push the blocks of the same number to combine until you reach 2048 and beyond but 2048 is the top priority(for me that is). And I finally got it!

But my version is 'a little' cheating as I can undo my moves... No matter, it is still an accomplishment to get 2048 after trying for a while!

And, that's my game life for ya! As for the progress in my manga project... I just finished the shading a while ago. All that left is some touch-ups and adding of the dialogue through computer. The latest would be the week after before I could upload. I think I will upload some parts of the manga to give a sneak peak on the chapter itself.^^
Adding on, I mentioned before that I would add author's note for every chapter but now I take my words back as I've no promises for a note...Sorry >.<
And so, I can finally take a break from this project before working on chapter 2 though I have long thought of how I should go about it... However, there is a very big problem to this project... I've yet to think of a name for it...(Sigh) Maybe I'll think about it over the week...

For my Tales project... It is likely that I won't be able to make it on time to finish TOS characters and upload by the end of the month. Although with 2 weeks to go before the end of the month, there is still time... But no promises. (It largely depends on my mood...Yes, my mood...Hate to see myself being an emotional-driven person but that's how I am...)

Last but not least, the new one-shot manga I mentioned a while ago. I had finished the character design for the main character(mc) and the girl mc will be meeting. Yet to think of a name for mc and the girl... Going to work on mc's parents and friends as well before moving on to the manga itself. (Will upload the design notes as a glimpse on the manga itself!)
But of course, Tales project will be the top in the list before this. I guess this will be the one I will be working on during my break before I start with chapter 2 of the manga project!

100th post special: MILLION ARTHUR FAN APPRECIATION DAY!

It's been over a year and this post marks the 100th!- This is really a record for me and until now, I've no thoughts of shutting Yujin down at all!

Okay then, let's get things down proper. Today marks a special day for all MA gamers. IT IS MA FAN APPRECIATION DAY! And, I happens to be a Singaporean, getting the privilege to attend the event! The event venue was a little far from my place but for the free card code, I set my time off to go.

When I arrived at around 1335, the crowd wasn't so bad. However... THE QUEUE FOR THE CARD CODE WAS NO JOKE! To me, I had queued for as long as an hour and more before (for theme park rides) so it was not a problem. My only complaint was the temperature. Lately, Singapore's temperature is super high that it felt like one is in a desert and the event venue being an open place is not helping one bit with the long queue...

After about half an hour or more, it finally reached my turn! And, I got one Nimue Poster and card with the code behind!

The second card was taken for my sibling who can't make it due to studies.

 After I gotten the card, the time passed really make a lot of differences!

The crowd gotten bigger! And man, I feel jealous for the people who won the pillows in the stage events, posing challenge.

A little explanation on the game itself: Basically, the posing challenge is simply a contest between 5 participants whom were chosen by the cosplayers or the MC. And, the cosplayers will choose a card from a piles of cards. The cards are all Million Arthur cards in the size of between A5 and A4. The card chosen will be the card pose that contestants have to do. The judge will be the cosplayer. But before the posing starts, the contestants have to follow the dance moves done by the cosplayer on stage until the music stops. Once music stops, contestants then have to pose accordingly. The best out of the five will walk away with the pillow!

Though I have the desire for the pillows, I realised it is not practical to me since my bed is filled with so many stuff that I have no place to put the pillow if I were to win one... In the end, the one sleeping on my bed will be the pillow and my stuff than me instead-_-

All in all, I only went to the event for the card code and find that there was nothing much to keep me occupy until 1700++ for the lucky draw. I went off at around 1600++ after I gotten the second card code for my sibling. (At around that time was the photo taking session with the cosplayers.-Not a fan of cosplay.>_<)
It may feel like a waste if I was selected as one of the lucky draw winners but then again, the same rebuttal that I've no space for it. (I could give to my sibling but being there for another 1 hour without anything to do and the low probability of been chosen were in no favour to me...)

Congrats to those who won the pillows and wish there was a similar event for Brave Frontier!

Comics Day!-CompAce magazine, MGLN original chronicle movie first vol 1 & MGLN innocent vol 3 bought!

Last Saturday was the comics day event in Kinokuniya. I went to Kino earlier in fear of the free comics being taken up. However, in the end, there weren't much people and well I got a bag of comics.

Well, they're... Comics literally; like in the west and not the east... I guess I'll take my time to read them...

Along with this event exclusive for members, there was a 20% discount for books and magazines. And, I bought CompAce magazine, MGLN original chronicle movie first manga volume 1 and MGLN innocent volume 3.

I know that I said that I won't buy CompAce magazine anymore due to it being bulky but seeing it as MGLN innocent is starting on a new arc with Subaru and Teana as children and the free gift of MGLN Vivid phone strap... As a MGLN fan, I can't resist much of buying it.(Sigh) It was a good thing I did or I wouldn't have known that my assumption that Vivio was practising to fight with Einhart came true, seeing their fight in this issue plus the great turn-around in Fate Prisma Illya 3rei!

Coloured page for a new arc! SPOILERS: This scene is a dream of Subaru asking Teana about Brave Duel

FATE! OMG! The glasses look great on you!(I always take Fate as a glasses person!) And Alica is as short as ever. Wonder how does the other grown-up characters look like especially the materials!

 A little summary of the chapter:(rough understanding since I do not know japanese; understanding through the art.) Apparently, Subaru thought of asking Teana about Brave duel that she even dream about it and in her dream, Teana not only knows but is a top player(?) And a large amount of pages is put into introducing the Nakajima family, interaction between Subaru and Teana where the Subaru's  dream takes place but the reactions are different from Teana. With that, Subaru and Teana reach the T&H shop for brave duel. A much grown-up Fate plus a little taller Alicia are shown with Alicia doing MC in bunny outfit while Fate helping out with the shop. I guess this is where the chapter ends with Subaru going to try out brave duel?- No idea about the last part... This got me curious as to how Subaru and Teana's barrier jacket will look like and as well as the other characters; will they(the other characters) have same barrier jackets or upgraded to the strikers design? That can only be answered in the next issue!

Wonder how Claus felt when he stared at the ship, unable to do anything...And how did Einhart actually felt...

Great willpower you have there, Vivio. Sometimes when I see their adult modes, I can't help to think of them as adults when they are still children. To have such willpower when children are supposed to know fun and not pain, I applaud for them. (Then again, this isn't reality...)

I must be lacking behind; I had no idea why is Vivio(adult form) wearing black jacket again when she had adopted the white jacket after her mother(Nanoha)? A boost-up?-No idea. Anyway, it is as I assumed or predicted that like the fight between Nanoha and Fate, Vivio is following her mother(Nanoha)'s footstep of befriending; by fighting your soon-to-friend whom will turn into your lover best friend for a lifetime. It was intense and in fact the best until now. Readers can also see how much Vivio has improved from losing to Einhart straight in the beginning and now, she's landing hits plus at the end...Wonder if Einhart will faint from this punch? [Having conflicting thoughts of which conclusion will be great since I feel that Einhart should lose as that girl need a wake-up call especially from Vivio to let go of the past yet on the other hand, I like Einhart's character and hate to see her lose; like Fate...](Sigh) Bet MGLN vivid is ending soon with this fight...

FINALLY! Both of them finally met after so many chapters! Great to see Miyu!

Brilliant strike by Illya! That scumbag deserves it for hurting Miyu and everything!

This is one chapter worth to buy the magazine. FINALLY! I mean like finally they met and this time having the ability to rescue Miyu! Although the author is real cruel to cut their meeting short with the ending... I guess after settling this big problem which is the climax of the climax in the series, all secrets shall be revealed unless the author has planned for a fourth arc? Oh well, I am always ready for more so long as the storyline is interesting! Looking forward to the animation in July!

And so, that's about it! I'm getting lazy to post the full chapter and also, I felt that if one is really a fan and don't have the patience to wait, then he/she should just buy the magazine to read instead. In a way, if you want it, you got to get it yourself or take the 'painful' way of waiting. I just upload a few pages to get people interested and buy the magazine if you really want to know the full chapter.
